For Stanislas Pro secondary school in Rijswijk, I collaborated with Loes Kellendonk on the development and detailing of the design. The school focuses on vocational education in hospitality, technology, and healthcare. Building on the existing layout, I further refined the design with special attention to creating a green atmosphere and a character that reflects the school’s practice-oriented identity.
Several carefully designed elements highlight the school’s unique character. The central hall now features a practical and distinctive setup, including a wall-mounted rack for helmets and safety vests, directly linked to the technical programs. The old staircase leading to the canteen was replaced with a tiered seating area, providing both circulation and an inviting place to gather. The routing towards the restrooms was also thoughtfully integrated, ensuring better visibility, safety, and cohesion within the space.
The project was completed during the summer break of 2025, allowing the school to start the new academic year in an inspiring and future-focused learning environment.
