This residential project involved a complete transformation of a once cold and impersonal space, with the primary goal of crafting a warm and inviting environment that would reflect the unique needs and style of the homeowners. The design focused on enhancing the flow of the space, opening it up and creating a seamless connection between rooms, allowing for a more cohesive living experience.
The result is a modern, industrial-inspired home that blends sleek, contemporary lines with high-end finishes, adding an edgy yet sophisticated feel to the space. Every element of the design, from the kitchen to the staircase, living room, and bathroom, was carefully reimagined to provide both functional and aesthetic value. The balance of materials and textures adds depth and character to each area, ensuring that the home feels both comfortable and stylish.

Maximizing Space with Modern Design
The ground floor layout of this project had a lot of natural light and was quite open, but the equipment was outdated. Our client wanted to add a kitchen island, which presented a challenge because the space was narrow in width. We needed to create enough storage space, maintain the open concept, clarify traffic flow and use, and add an island for cooking and dining.
The end result is a stunning kitchen that seamlessly integrates an island for cooking and dining. The space maintains its open concept, but features modern finishes and appliances. Careful consideration was given to every aspect of the design, including creating ample storage space and clarifying traffic flow and use.
Making a Bold Statement
The outdated staircase with the stairwell has been replaced with a new, custom-made staircase that serves as the centerpiece of the living room. The entire staircase, including the steps, has been designed to be completely bespoke. The bottom two steps, which serve more as a platform than actual steps, have been specially designed to be slightly larger than the other steps. The wall behind the staircase has been decorated with a mineral stone wallpaper, bringing together the various warm tones of the design. The staircase and its surrounding area have been transformed into a stunning feature that truly enhances the aesthetic of the living space.
